What are As Constructed Drainage Plans?

An as constructed drainage plan shows the connection point from Council’s sewer system to the dwelling, and may show connections to the kitchen, bathroom, and toilet, etc.

Measurements and depths of the drainage are included on the plan.

Does Council have Plans for Every Property?

As constructed drainage plans are available for most properties connected to the town sewerage and many properties that are not connected to the town sewerage.

1. Note (1)—some older properties may not have a drainage plan on record.
2. Note (2)—the state government (Queensland Building and Construction Commission) maintains a database of notifiable works that have been carried out on properties in Queensland, which may include further drainage plans for the property.

Cost of the Plans

A fee applies for copies of as constructed drainage plans. This fee can be found in Planning and Development Fees and Charges.
